Dr. Oscar Blanco-Franco is a board-certified cardiologist, caring for the community of Jackson Heights, NY. He is excited to bring his knowledge to Mount Sinai Doctors. Patients visit him for a wide spectrum of common and specialized medical needs, including chest pain, coronary artery diseases, valve disorders, arrhythmia, and hypertension.
Dr. Blanco-Franco earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Beth Israel Hospital North. He also received his certification in cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Blanco-Franco believes that prevention of illness is better than cure and encourages his patients to take personal responsibility for their health. He strives to provide comprehensive and holistic medical care, to enhance his patients’ overall health.
