Dr. Jafri grew up in Colorado, but moved to Texas to complete his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin. He went on to pursue his doctorate of optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Jafri graduated Summa Cum Laude in his class as well as being a member of the honor society Beta Sigma Kappa during his tenure in optometry school. Dr. Jafri was recognized as a contact lens fitting expert for astigmatic and multifocal contact lenses by the Vision Care Eye Institute in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Jafri enjoys providing his patients with the latest and most current options for optimal vision. These options include contact lens fitting, Lasik evaluation, and lens options for cataract surgery. Dr. Jafri also manages patients with a myriad of ocular conditions; including eye infections, dry eyes, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. When he is not participating in patient care, Dr. Jafri enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as playing basketball and tennis.
