About Dr. Brian Tan

Brian S. Tan, O.D. is a Therapeutic Optometrist specializing in primary care, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. He is proficient in utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to assess candidacy for refractive and cataract procedures and treatment of diabetic eye disease and hypertensive ocular pathology. Dr. Tan also administers pre-operative and post- operative care for cataract surgery and laser vision correction patients. Dr. Tan received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas in Austin, TX, and his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in Houston, TX. During his pre-doctoral internship, he completed specialty rotations in diabetic and hypertensive ocular pathology, neuro-ophthalmology and cataract and laser vision correction surgery. He also specializes in sports vision and special needs optometry. Dr. Tan is a member of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Brian Tan was a good listener and thoroughly explained everything that he did during my eye exam. Sarah, the technician, was VERY helpful and knowledgeable during my extensive eye tests and numerous other procedures and tests that she did. I was Very impressed with both Dr. Tan and Sarah, and I will definitely come back to this office when I need another annual eye exam. The office is much closer to my home than my previous eye doctor.
