Dr. Arnett is a licensed optometric glaucoma and ocular disease specialist who is therapeutically certified. She was an Intel Science Talent Search semifinalist, and after completing her undergraduate studies at New York University under the Presidential Honors scholars program, with honors, she received her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. During her clinical education, she completed externships with emphasis in ocular disease and glaucoma treatment and management at Hudson Valley VA Hospital and Northport VA Hospital. She completed a primary care externship at Codman Square Health Center in Dorchester, MA, with emphasis in ocular disease and pediatrics. She further completed a cornea and specialty contact lens rotation at New England Eye, and a low vision rehabilitation rotation at Jamaica Plains VA Medical Center. Dr. Arnett’s clinical interests include primary care, pediatrics, punctal plugs and contact lens fittings including specialty GPs and toric/astigmatic lenses. She is a member of the NYS Optometric Association, NJ Society of Optometric Physicians and American Optometric Association.

This was my first time going to their office. The staff was friendly and eager to answer any and all questions. I had my 3 year old with me and he was very active. The receptionist was very sweet and gave me something to occupy my son while I filled out my paperwork. The doctors assistant was very helpful in getting some much needed info I needed for my drivers license. And the doctor was cheery and easy to talk to. All in all a very pleasant experience!!

This was my daughter's first eye exam and she had some anxiety going in but everyone from the front desk to Dr. Arnett were super friendly and made her feel as comfortable as possible. Each person asked if it was her first exam and they all walked her through each step very sweetly.
We did wait a bit for the appointment, arriving early to fill out the paperwork we still waited till about 15 or so minutes after our appointment time before beginning the exam.
Overall a great experience! We'll definitely be back again.

Dr. Arnett is wonderful, my only complaint is with billing/insurance. According to ZocDoc they accept VSP, but after my appointment I was informed that they are Out of Network. Fortunately it seems that they'll be able to bill this to my medical insurance, but I've learned my lesson about checking directly with my insurer for accuracy.
