Dr. Cowell was very friendly and down to earth. She made me feel at ease. I think I have found my new doctor! The other people on staff were also very nice.

This was my first visit with Dr. Cowell, and I will continue to see her as my personal OBGYN. She was such a pleasant person to deal with. Right away, she wants to get to know her patients, and was very attentative to my needs. When you get to your room, there is soft hymn-like music in the background (which i found really nice) The staff there was just as warm and inviting as she was. Highly recommended!

Dr. Cowell trained at Emory University School of Medicine and Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Georgia.
She was board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1992 and recertifies annually to update her skills and knowledge in the field of women's healthcare.
She was Medical Director of Adolescent Pregnancy at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. And she held faculty positions at Georgetown, George Washington, and Case Western Reserve Universities.
Dr. Cowell was recruited to Puyallup in 1998 to expand access to specialty care for women in this area. She opened her private office in Puyallup in 2001 and named it for the most prominent natural landmark on the town's horizon.

Doctor was an hour and a half late. Then she was very rushed. I felt unheard and left feeling like I need to find another doctor for a real exam. Will not return. Also, they play Christian music throughout the whole office. Don't they realize this may be off-putting to people who aren't Christian?

I like the human interaction with this doctor, often "doctors" are really stuck up and above you. Dr Cowell is a very professional, friendly and knowledgeable doctor but talks and thinks WITH you instead of FOR you.

Very pleasant visit with all the staff. All are helpful and make you comfortable. Enjoy the music and the warmth of the office. Would definitely recommend the office.

This was my first visit with Dr. Cowell, and I will continue to see her as my personal OBGYN. She was such a pleasant person to deal with.
