Dr. Patrice Powell is a Nurse Practitioner based in Jamaica, NY. She began her career as a registered nurse at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she worked for over seven years before transitioning into a Nurse Practitioner role. Dr. Powell earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nursing from Adelphi University, graduating with honors. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Powell has worked alongside providers at Weill Cornell Medicine in Transplant Nephrology as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner for several years. She started her Nurse Practitioner career working part-time in internal medicine and home care. Passionate about serving low-income communities, she has continuously maintained her involvement in home care throughout her career.
Following her dedication to internal medicine and home care, Dr. Powell left the busy streets of Manhattan to serve her community as a Nurse Practitioner in internal medicine at Advantage Care Physician for several years, while continuing to provide home care services. She later earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with honors from Chamberlain University. Dr. Powell is now focused on starting her own practice and setting a higher standard in healthcare. She strives to provide optimal care to patients both in their homes and through virtual services.

She's knowledgeable easy to talk to understanding and very intelligent she explains things to you she doesn't just tell you what you need she tells you why you need it and gives you the consequences if you don't take it I like that she's a straight shooter I'm really happy she's my medical care professional I wouldn't have it any other way!
