I like that she always has little "tips", like use baby shampoo to wash your eyes and it helps dry eyes. This visit she mentioned I should take 1000mg of Omega 3's each day. It will also help with dry eyes as well as lubricating joints.

Dr. Patricia Austin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Nebraska where she earned BA degrees in Zoology and Mathematics. She went on to obtain her MD degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Dr. Austin then completed her residency in both pediatrics and ophthalmology at UCSF and is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology. She has served as a past president of the Alameda Contra Costa Medical Association and past chair of the department of ophthalmology at John Muir Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Austin is the chair of the board of directors of the American Red Cross Blood Bank and a delegate of the American Medical Association. She performs advanced anterior segment and cataract surgery at the Aspen Surgical Center in Walnut Creek.
