She completed her 3 year surgical residency training at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA. Dr. Whitmore is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She has been in private practice since 2006. Dr. Whitmore has a special interest in cosmetic foot procedures, pediatric patients and helping patients live without foot pain. Outside of podiatry, Dr. Whitmore loves spending time with her family and reading. She strives to treat every patient as if they were a family member. Dr. Whitmore enjoys treating patients of all nationalities and many patients travel to see her.

Dr. Whitmore took my pain and concerns very seriously and did exactly what I asked when I expressed how much my pain was affecting me. My only issue was when I was explaining my problem and wants with the nurse, she was a little dismissive and did not seem to think the procedure I knew I needed was necessary. But, when Dr. Whitmore came in, she was fully on board and agreed to do the procedure I needed.
