Patrick Chae received his B.A. from Columbia University and his medical training at New Jersey Medical School of UMDNJ after being award the Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence. He completed residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Mount Sinai. Since 2007 he has been practicing in partnership with Dr. Louis Depalo at Park Avenue Pulmonary Care in association with Mount Sinai. He has been a valued consultant for many services at the medical center and has been named consultant of the year by the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Care medicine. He is now the inpatient director for Mount Sinai Hospital of the Mount Sinai -National Jewish Respiratory Institute. He considers himself a general pulmonologist and strives to provide thorough, compassionate, and expert care to any persons requiring pulmonary consultation and ongoing care.
