Dr. Lazar is fantastic! Super knowledgeable and thorough - though also a very fast talker! He recommended a stepped approach and did not push more invasive treatments (unless other alternatives failed over time), which I appreciated. Would definitely return for future foot issues.

Welcome to Upper East Side Foot & Ankle, I am Paul Lazar, DPM.
Our goal is to help our patients continue their lifestyles as pain free as possible. Whether you are a child, adult, mature adult or diabetic, my staff and I work diligently to make you feel as comfortable as possible. To this end we utilize state of the art equipment, such as the newest, painless Noveon Nail Fungus Laser, Ultrasound, Digital X-ray and non-invasive Peripheral Vascular testing . Custom fit orthotics can be cast and made for a variety of shoe and lifestyle needs.
We realize that athletes, despite foot and ankle pain, or sports injury, will continue to exercise. We endeavor to keep athletes as comfortable as possible while they attain their goals.
The Staff of Upper East Side Foot & Ankle empathize and understand that foot pain can be de habilitating, embarrassing, or indicative of of more serious health issues. Please give our staff a call and we can start your healing process as soon as possible.

Dr. Lazar was personable and attentive to my needs, and had reviewed my history before coming in the room, so was able to jump right in. He is a fast talker, but not in a bad way. He answered all of my questions and we came up with a plan to try various techniques to alleviate my pain so that I can continue to live my life.

I was quite impressed with Dr. Paul Lazar. He has a charming, welcoming personality and made me feel comfortable discussing issues I have. He performed a couple procedures with proficiency that relieved the pain I had been suffering from.
Ironically, upon arrival, I saw a friend was just finishing up his appointment with Dr. Lazar, who he told me he has been seeing the doctor for years and highly recommends him.
Dr. Lazar's staff was professional and friendly, his offices are modern and ultra clean, and he accepted my insurance.
I highly recommend Dr. Lazar!

Can you say that you had a lot of fun at the Doctor's office? Because I really did. The receptionist was really friendly, the office clean and nice and Dr. Lazar was great. He was friendly, funny, very intelligent. About 3 minutes in, he was rattling off the issues that I was having, which muscles were the cause and how we can fix it. All in all, a true gem.
