Dr. Alphonse was very personable and professional. I didn’t speak up as much in the appointment and wished that he would have asked me what I thought was going on. Nonetheless, he explained how to evaluate my issue and I left the office feeling pretty comfortable with how to move forward.
I will say, however, I scheduled my appointment after going to urgent care, thinking that I had a UTI. His office emailed, texted and sent me reminder messages multiple times ahead of my appointment. Then on the day before my appointment, someone from his office called me and said, “Why do you wanna see Dr. Alphonse?” I felt like I was being screened after I already submitted all of my information including insurance, and they had access to my medical records. The phone call was so awkward that I ended up asking the person, “He’s a urologist, right? Do they deal with the urinary tract?” That conversation made me wonder how my appointment would go. I felt interrogated for setting an appointment.

I was asked so many questions related to the symptoms, but based on the experience they were unable to narrow it down and were withholding information until they saw the lab results at the same time they did not provide me any home remedies until all the tests are done, and I got like a week later appointment until which i have to bleed in pee.

I had a great experience at my appointment. The staff was friendly and the doctor as well. Dr. Alphonse was also dry knowledgeable about what was going on with me.

He is professional, has a good bedside manner, personable, makes you feel at ease. The wait time was quite long, but I was able to take a power nap until he arrived. The office staff were friendly, and professional, and things were handled efficiently. I knew what I was going in for and exactly what needed to be done, but he said that the procedure needed to be done under anesthesia and would take about an hour and it needed to be done at the hospital where they do their surgical procedures. I know for a fact that this procedure takes a few minutes to do, and does not require anesthesia, and I have always had it done the same day of my visit, without notice, either at a dermatologist or Urologist. It could very well be the policy at Wellstar and have nothing to do with him, but I am going to try to find another medical center. I am a very busy man and feel like I wasted several hours out of my schedule for nothing.

Laboratory (Nicole) very good, efficient, more skilled than Dracula when drawing blood. I'm very please with the service.
