He obtained his Masters degree in Pharmacology from Tulane University in New Orleans and attended Medical School at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii. His internship in internal medicine was completed at St Marys Medical Cetner in San Francisco. His residency tranining in Ophthalmology was completed at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Holland helped me with untangling some tests that my ex-ophthalmologist didn't really do very well. Dr. Holland is very caring, patient, kind, and explains things thoroughly. In reviewing my tests with him, I learned more about my eyes than I did in 10 yrs of seeing my old ophthalmologist! He's great!

I needed a diabetic "eye" checkup and Dr. Holland did a very thorough job.......probably better than I've ever had over my 60+ years! Don't need new glasses, eyes are healthy and I'm good to go. Very grateful for the care he gave. His staff were all very friendly, highly competent and attentive! Glad I found Dr. Holland's practice.

Dr. Paul Holland is an excellent ophthalmologist in every way. He is intelligent, highly capable, skilled and relates wonderfully with his patients. He works with you with any issues you have at the moment and also thinks about the future health of your eyes. In addition, he is a good person with compassion, caring and understanding for his patients.
I would highly recommend Dr. Paul Holland to anyone who requires eye care. My whole family sees Dr. Holland and we have excellent eye health.

We live in downtown SF but we make it a point to even go to Daly City just to have our eyes checked by Dr. Holland. Very professional, very personable, everyone makes a connection with the patients. I don't mind paying for BART just to go this Eye Center

Dr. Holland is a very professional physician and has a very personable bed-side manner. As a senior citizen, it is comforting to have a doctor who explains in details exactly what is going on especially when it concerns your eyesight.
