Patient reviews for Dr. Paul Spiegl
I made my appointment with Dr. Spiegal based on the review I saw here...and he was good. He took his time to listen and didn't waste time going over other stuff as soon as I told him that I've been through physical therapy already... he sent me in for MRI immediately for the pain I've been dealing with for sometime. Recommended for sure.
I have been seeing a podiatrist for almost a year and felt like they didn't listen to me. I went to my first visit with Dr. Spiegl and I felt like he heard me as a person and not just another nameless patient. He looked at me when he talked and really listened to me. It was worth the 1 hour drive. I would recommend him.
Great surgeon with a super staff as well.
I really enjoyed meeting Dr. Spiegl. We don't have the answers we need just yet but he is willing to look a little further to decide the best course of treatment for me. Getting a little more information and more direction before making a decision is best and I like that about Dr. Spiegl.
I have seen doctors in NJ and NY for a problem with a neuroma, both wanting to do surgery. He was able to diagnose a different source for my pain, hopefully I will not have to have surgery.
He was fine but the wait was impossible!
Although, late he was very through and spent the time to answer questions and explain all my questions for that visit.
Very knowledgable. Really took the time to talk to me and consider my situation. Amazing nurse, Victoria. He was very thorough, got me in a more comfortable boot and also referred me to docs for clot.
Dr. Spiegl is very arrogant. He seems annoyed to have to talk to you at all because whatever he recommends for you is obviously the correct choice. He was, personally, in the exam room with me for less than 7 minutes but you should see what was billed to my insurance company. I knew of him through reputation, and I'm sure he's an excellent surgeon. But, he should be forbidden from being around patients until they're under anesthesia.
My visit went great. Dr. Spiegl was thorough, caring and communicative and what sometimes can be a dealbreaker - the office staff was superb! Everyone was so warm and caring, from the front office to Dr. Spiegl's assistant to the technicians. All questions were answered patiently and at no point did I feel rushed although I was the last appointment of the day.
The wait was horrendous. There was no explanation. The office was freezing cold. The magazines sucked. The PA was alright-had more bedside manner than the doctor did.
I really enjoyed my time at the office..everyone seemed happy and joyful; yet busy !! I was impressed by this doctors office..!! Always smile !!!
It took a while for me to see the "actual" doctor, but the staff was very pleasant. Highly recommend.
It was informative pleasant efficient and the assistance to Dr. Spiegel were wonderful people and superb at their jobs
He was short, very direct and to the point. He listened to my questions and did not rush me. I am scheduled to see him for followup next week. I feel comfortable enough to let him operate on me without getting a second opinion.
He is a very good doctor thus be prepared to wait a while. For me getting superior medical care is certainly worth the wait.
I waited for about two and a half hours for my mri Fallow up, and when i finally saw the disinterested doctor he spent about 30 seconds saying there is nothing he could do.
He seemed professional and knowledgeable but I left his office upset every time because I never saw him until at least an hour after my appointment time. In fact I walked out of my last appointment because I waited almost 2 hours in the waiting room and he never showed. Why set an appointment time if you are never going to see the Dr. until 2 hours after the scheduled appointment ;~O(
I liked the doctor and the majority of the staff. but it was weird that i have to call a totally different person, who i didnt meet to schedule my surgery. and she has yet to answer, which i find odd. even when i called the office directly and got transferred to her extension she still didnt answer.
Dr. Spiegl is a very nice person, and a very professional doctor. I liked how he show interest on helping my son with his ankle and foot issues; he listened to him, and was truly engaged on getting to the right recommendation and procedure. We will visit Dr. Spiegl once again very soon.
Very candid & direct which isn't a bad thing he just caught me off guard a few times as a new patient.
Front office staff was very rude and not friendly. An hour and a half before I actually got to see the Doc. Multiple times nurses and PA's would come to my room to let me know it would be "2 more seconds". Not impressed with the customer service side of the business, but I do believe the Doc is knowledgeable and will put together a good plan for my feet and ankle issues.
Dr. Spiegl's staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They explain what they are doing and take their time with you to ensure that you are comfortable and understand your treatment. Highly recommended.
Took a long time to finally see Dr. Spiegl himself. I was treated very harshly in taking my xrays. The xray technician claimed that she was rushing trying to make sure I saw Dr. Spiegl because there were a lot of patients and she wanted to make sure he didn't leave. I didn't understand this being I did have an appointment with him, so why would he leave. Once I saw Dr. Spiegl he was very expedient in getting to the issue and what he needed me to do for him to give me sound medical advice for my condition.
He is my third opinion for a foot problem. He is the only Dr. To officially find a problem. I Am so impressed how thorough he is ,and feel relieved I am finally in good hands with Dr. Spiegl . He does not rush to do surgery
Encouraging. I think I am approaching a solution to a long standing problem.
I had my appointment with Dr Nicholson. I didnt have to wait too long. The medical assistany noted down all the details and I had an x ray done in a short time. The doctor came within a few mins of the x ray and went over the details. I had a spasm in my back muscle and what I liked most was that he took time to explain what was happening, pulling up diagrams on the computer etc.
Many good things and one bad thing. The good: *Dr Paul Spiegl is great, very professional and smart. *The nurses, the PA, the technicians, the receiptions - they are all very nice and helpful. *The clinic is great - clean, organized, it feels good. The bad (and it's very bad): *The wait time. I found myself waiting more than 1.5 hours a few times. It seems that they have a problem with Dr Spiegl's availability because he is sometimes called for urgent surgerys or something like that. Whatever it is, I understand that things can happen, but why not inform your patients? If the doctor has gone somewhere and won't be availble for 2 hours, please call the patients who have appointments (or let them know as they sit in the lobby) and inform them about it, so they may reschedule or find something to do! This is a CONSTANT problem with this place. I've been here at least 8 times and there was only once that I waited 15 minutes. All other times were AT LEAST 45 waiting if not more than that.
He was amazing!
They were very efficient and I was very satisfied.
Only surprise was that I had to fill out all the information that I previously filled out on line, so that was a total waste of time. However all were pleasant and professional.
The long wait was necessary because surgery had taken longer than expected. Just grateful that I could see him.
I think I have found the doctor to help me fix my ongoing ankle problem.
He was great. He was very warm and assured me he would take care of my foot. Thank you :)
Doctor Spiegl and his immediate staff are great. The office staff need to work on their side of the business. When a doctor did'n know he had an appointment waiting that rests on the office staff and booking group to make sure they are on the same page.
Dr. Spiegl is very knowledgeable about his field. Was really impressed.
Doctor Spiegel appropriately referred me to his associate who was better suited to diagnos me.
Dr. Spiegl is very knowledgable and a great doctor; however, be prepared to wait a while to see him. My entire appointment (from check-in to check-out) lasted over two hours.
Very good, fast effective service.
Dr. Spiegl and everyone at Perimeter Orthopaedics is great! Very professional and really cares for you and your health and well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Spiegl and Perimeter Orthopaedics!
Always a long wait don't make plans . A wait to be called and a wait to see the doctor and you have to pay for parking!
He was very knowledgeable.
DrSpiegel allowed the patient to talk abd he listened without cutting the patient off. The patient can best describe what they are feeling which can aide the physician to get closer to a correct diagnosis.I felt that hw had good bedaise manners and I was impresaed with the visit.
