About Dr. George Kanes
Dr. George Kanes joined North Roswell Internal Medicine in 2014. He is a native Atlantan. He attended school at Emory University and Medical College of Georgia, and graduated in 1985. Dr. Kanes completed his residency and fellowship at Medical College of Georgia. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.
Prior to joining North Roswell Internal Medicine, Dr. Kanes had a private practice in Marietta for 24 years. His interests include Geriatrics, Men’s Health and Pulmonary Medicine. His favorite aspect of Internal Medicine is getting to know his patients personally and developing a long-term patient-doctor relationship. In his free time, Dr. Kanes spends his time with his dogs and enjoys cooking and gardening.

Everything about the appointment was user friendly. The staff was one on one prior to and at appointment. It was my first visit and as a well patient, but Dr. Kane came across as a very seasoned Doctor.

I filled out the paperwork sent to me by Zocdoc, but then had to go over all of it again with a nurse who put it into a laptop. But the nurse who took all my information again was delightful and had a good sense of humor.
The doctor is very personable. His questions were good and he listened to me. I was not treated like "just another old person" with health problems. I felt I could talk to DR. Kanes about what I want and hope to get from him as my doctor. I enjoyed a visit I had been dreading.

Dr. Kanes is awesome great listener. Always honest but will always listen to you. I always feel like he has my best interest in mind. We moved away for 2 and a half years and made sure if we came back into town we scheduled appointments. Only had to see another pcp three times. We have seen the other doctors they are also great staff is great. We always try to see Dr. Kanes though. Zocdoc registered us as new patients had to get that corrected but enjoy using Zocdoc app as well

I left a large internal medicine practice in Alpharetta and have never looked back and or regretted my decision to change to North Roswell Internal Medicine.
Dr Kane is a great internist, with decades of experience, it’s too bad there are few internist with the personality , bedside manner and experience as Dr George Kanes

Both the doctor and his nurse were friendly, informative, took an adequate amount of time with me. The doctor provided the referrals I needed for further health screenings. I went there on the recommendation of a friend and would do the same if someone else were looking for a medical office.
