I have been going to Dr. Willianson for 7 years, and he got me through two tough surgeries. I would to to see him if his office was on the moon. Love his talented surgery skills and know he is the best doctor for any colon needs. The wait time is always long because he is a teaching center and young doctors come from all over the United states to study under him. I love this doctor for his skills. If he said to me that he had to cut my head off to fix my left toe, I would say okay, you must have you reason. (Joking) I trust him that much. He is awesome and have recommended him to several of my friends who need his skills.

Dr. Williamson is Board Certified by both the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the American Board of Surgery. He is a managing partner at the Colon & Rectal Clinic of Orlando. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wake Forest University and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 1997. After receiving his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, he served his General Surgery residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Williamson completed his fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Carle Clinic Foundation in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. During his training, he also served a clinical internship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
He currently serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Central Florida, Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Florida State University, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at University of South Florida, College of Medicine.
Dr. Williamson is the co-section leader for Surgical Oncology and Section leader for Department of Colon & Rectal Surgery for UF Health Cancer Center (formerly MD Anderson Cancer Center of Orlando). He has been listed in Strathmore's Who's Who in Business since 1998.
