Great! Very friendly and personable and seems to genuinely care about your well-being. He won't brush off even the smallest tiniest concern you may have. I feel that I have a doctor that is knowledgeable and in-tune to my needs.
His assistant is great too!! I wish she had a section so I could give her 5 stars too

I have a solo practice of office gynecology so that I can offer personalized care to my patients. I provide comprehensive office gynecology services.
I trained at Harvard Medical School and Harvard teaching hospitals and opened a private practice in Boston in 1973. I am an assistant clinical professor of gynecology and reproductive biology at Harvard Medical School and I teach gynecology residents at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. My clinic teaching focuses on technical expertise and I work hard to teach my residents to pay close attention to what their patients tell them. I believe this is the foundation of a positive doctor-patient relationship.

Dr. Winig was so warm and pleasant, I almost forgot that I was there to have a pap smear. I had my first appointment with him yesterday and before the exam he had a long consultation with me in his beautiful office, no stirrups in sight. I am a bit of a complicated case, and he listened carefully to what I told him and then presented me with options after he had examined me. I really appreciated the way he went through the pros and cons of all of the options he recommended and allowed me to choose the option that made me the most comfortable.

Dr. Winig is such a caring and thoughtful doctor! He was patient in answering any questions I had. Because he explained each step of the exam, I was not nervous or scared at all. I am definitely going to see him as my gynecologist for a lonnnng time :)
