Friendly, pleasant and attentive to the patients needs.
I THINK DOCTOR PAYMON LOTFI, IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR AND I WILL SEND EVERYONE TO SEE HIM.
Dr. Lotfi was great - excellent bedside manner and very knowledgeable.
Just had my follow up appointment with Dr Lotfi after having an MRI done. Good news I seem to be healing so no further visits need unless symptoms get worse. However wait time for both visits was more than 45 minutes.
An excellent listener how takes the time to understand what your issue is and then takes the time to address it.
Very professional and friendly atmosphere. Front desk staff is always kind and helpful. Highly recommend this office.
I was very pleased with my visit to this office and Dr. Lofti. There was not a very long wait, I went right into x-ray, then into a room and saw Dr. Lofti. He was very professional, to the point and personable at the same time. I was pleased with his initial diagnosis and the way were going to proceed with my back pain. I would recommend him to anyone having back issues.
Not the most informative doctor. the physician's assistant spent way more time with me than the doctor, and answered a lot of the questions i couldn't get much from the doc about. the PA was really nice though.
Excellent quality of care all the way, from scheduling, front desk, radiology and the Doctor. A five star experience.
My wife visited Dr. Lotfi after she had an MRI of her back. He looked at the MRI and said surgery probably wouldn't be the best option for her. He said she should probably get injections in her back to stop the pain. He referred her to a pain specialist.
DR Lotfi took the time to listen to the background of my situation. He asked questions when I was not clear enough. He made sure I understood the cause of the pain I was having and very clearly explained all the options available to me and the sequence of events. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is experiencing problems with their neck or spine.
Very good. Right to the point and reviewed all history and made sure I was treated properly
I had read that Dr. Lotfi will recommend surgery as a last resort. Just based on my wife's symptoms and her age (62), he already said she would need major back surgery. He's probably right, but I thought he would say that only after looking at MRI pics. We have a follow up appt next week after her MRI. We'll see what happens then.
He was in a rush, he didnt read my whole file. I had brought all my prior paper work and seemed overwhelmed. He made some copies but i found myself recommending he copy certain items for information. With how severe my diagnosis was he did offer any relief and I had to ask for pain medication which made me feel awkward. Then he prescribed me a drug that I am allergic too. Welcome to the weekend. The office staff was checked out and I felt my situation was urgent and not taken seriously.
I filled out all the information on line and they couldn't find it so I had to fill it out again. The front desk women were busy talking to each other and not being very professional.
My first visit with Dr. Lotfi was just an evaluation but it took a really long time to check in. However, the front desk staff was really nice and courteous. I think they were just extremely busy. Dr. Lotfi was great, very calm with a common sense approach to my problem. He had me get an MRI and on follow up recommended surgery. He took the time to explain why he was recommending this and provided me with a couple of websites where I could learn more. He also provided a recommendation for a 2nd opinion. I ended up going with the 2nd opinion as my surgeon for two reasons: 1. the 2nd Dr. is a lot closer to where I live. 2. I called Dr. Lotfi's assistance with a couple of follow up questions and she did not call me back. I felt a little more secure with the 2nd Dr's staff. But I think Dr. Lotfi is an excellent Dr. and I would definitely recommend him.
very nice person . I would not hesitate to follow his recommendations and have him perform the surgery if necessary. great reputation well-deserved.
He is very professional and thorough. I trust him to operate on me. Sherri on this staff is very fast in responding to questions.
I met Dr. Lotfi 14 years ago with an onset of degenerative disc disease. I'm relatively fit, so his suggestion of physical therapy to strengthen my core muscles was went a long way in recovery. I appreciate that surgery was not his first inclination. His treatment in my case was conservative which I appreciate. After a recent injury I had reason to visit again for evaluation. Still as friendly and professional as ever. The wait time was not long at all.
Dr lotfi was very easy to talk to
Awesome that's all. I have to say.
He is a great doctor.
Fast to be seen in office but waited a long time in the room. Not very empathetic. He does a good job though so if you don't need kindness and can tolerate his rough nature then you'll be happy with your care.
Very caring and professional.
Everyone in the office was efficient and very pleasant. Dr. Lotfi had reviewed my Xray and MRI prior to coming in and understood my symptoms immediately.
Very good. I would recommend him.
Thought he was very patient, thoughtful and respectful. Listened well and gave great advice. Fortunately I don't need to see him regularly - or even again - but wouldn't hesitate if I did.
Great Doctor, I wouldnt have booked an appointment if I didnt trust Dr. Lofti.
Very professional and easy to talk with. He answered all my questions and covered all my concerns
The staff was friendly and helpful.
I wouldn't be going to Dr. Lofti if I didn't trust him.
Dr Lotfi is the consummate professional. I highly recommend him.
Very informative about medical problems. I would recommend him to family and friend.
Professional staff. Dr. Lotfi is awesome and explains everything in detail.
The wait was very long. I would have left if I wasn't in so much pain. However the staff was nice and the doctor seemed helpful.
Prompt professional and informative. It took longer to fill out the paperwork than the visit with the Dr.
He was very thorough and was very please with my treatment.
The doctor arrived in a timely manner and told me what my problem was in a straightforward, direct manner. He talked to me, not at me, and answered all of my questions.
By far, the most efficient and best organized medical practice I have experienced.
He was just ok .But most of the girls were not nice would never go back.
Wait time was about 45 minutes but that's not too bad for a new patients - seems pretty typical and it was a busy day. The doctor was great, apologized for the wait and really listened to my problem and needs and concerns. Such a great improvement from my last orthopedic doctor. Highly recommend! Appointment was Friday at 3.
From front dext to the doctor everybody is professional
This was a routine post op follow up and was very successful.
Dr.Lotfi is amazing.Very nice and informative. His nurses were great and the xray tech was fantastic. The only problem was the front desk girl. She was rude and condescending. She threw a large number(I am self pay) at me, almost as though she wanted me to cancel or admit I couldn't afford it. Then when I handed over the money, she was in shock. She sat there staring at it with surprise.
Everyone was nice and friendly and helpful. A lot of parking too.
I have been looking for an explanation and relief of back and arm pain for 2 years. My PCP finally referred me to an orthopedist. Dr. Lotfi took the time to review my MRI and show me exactly where the pain is coming from. He recommended conservative treatments, but also provided me with information on surgery. Dr. Lotfi is personable, informative and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a spine specialist.
I love doctor lotfi he is always polite and professional.
Dr. Lofti listened to my symptoms and had already reviewed my MRI and xrays. He listed out all of my options, answered all of my questions (and my husband's questions), and we agreed on a treatment plan. He did not recommend or push surgery options, but stated if other treatment plans did not help, or the condition worsened, we could discuss surgery options in the future. I also appreciated that he wasn't all about pushing narcotic pain meds, since I don't believe that pain killers are a solutions, only a temporary fix. He did prescribe medication to reduce inflammation. I was very pleased with his level of expertise and his professionalism.
This was a follow up appointment. I Received excellent care and continued advice and support for long term management program.
He had a nice bedside manner. He seemed to be very informative about my problem.
He was amazing. Extremely thorough and precise. Although, the office was unaware that I even had an appointment scheduled through zocdoc :/ Some sort of glitch I hope. Seems as though this may have been the case because I was not the only one today that was "lost" in the system. But overall the staff was amazing. They fit me right in and I am now on the road to treatment and hopefully a speedy recovery :)
I only waited because, I was new to this office.
Great, knowledgable I have been using him for my children the past 6years. I am happy to continue to use him and would def recommend Dr. Lotfi to anyone.
It was so nice to see a doctor with a great bedside manner. He answered my questions with a pleasant demeanor. I left his office fully understanding my condition and options on treatment. Thanks!!!!!!!
He is great...had other opinions done before him. He was spot-on. Listens to his patients and explains any procedure well.
Fantastic physician and orthopedic surgeon. I have had two experiences with Dr. Lotfi and he quickly brought me back to better than I was before. Dr. Lofti is the physician to see if you are having any problems with your back or neck. I will go to no other physician. He is by far the best orthopedic surgeon in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Lotfi was wonderful! One of the receptionists was extremely rude to me on the phone and then at the end of my visit.
Dr. Layfield was excellent!!!
