About Dr. Alan Schreiber
Alan Schreiber is a caring and dedicated orthopedic surgeon and spine specialist serving his patients in Lorton, Woodbridge, and Alexandria in Virginia, and in Waldorf and Clinton in Maryland. Dr. Schreiber is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is currently a member of the American Medical Society, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society, the Fellow American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the P.G. County Medical Society.
Dr. Schreiber is currently practicing at Medstar Orthopaedic Institute along with his talented cohort of doctors. Dr. Schreiber performs orthopedic consultations, bone density measurements, and orthopedic follow-ups, and he welcomes patients to his practice who are experiencing herniated disks, back problems, sports injuries, and scoliosis, among others. Is the Dr. engaged with what is going on with your health, progressing or regressing etc. Feedback from what you're explaining to the Dr. and what's being relay back to you. Alternative treatments for your illness or disease.

Dr. Schreiber was very professional and fully explained my options about my arthritis in my back. He reviewed the MRI's I brought with me on a CD and the Thermal Heat Scan I had done by a chiropractor.
He prescribed some medication for my back to help relieve the lower pain in my back.

It was a good experience. the doctor was thorough in explaining all my symptoms while showing me my X-rays and what it means. He answered all my questions. He was very pleasant. The only thing I recommend improving is when I scheduled via Zocdoc, non of the information was transferred to the MedStar office. When I arrived they didn't have the information and I had to provide all the information that I did via Zocdoc again and that was a bit frustrating.
