Pedram has been a practicing acupuncturist in southern California since 2001. With a strong background in the Chinese martial and healing arts, he brings a diverse and innovative approach to the field.
Pedram is a versatile and well-rounded acupuncturist and teacher with a no-nonsense approach to health and wellness. Over the past several years, he has helped create a truly integrated model for medicine.
Acting as a personal teacher and physician, he has helped hundreds of people overcome complex medical ailments. He has also served as a speaker for corporations and health groups across the country.
He studied as a Taoist monk for four years and took ordination as a Taoist minister. Taking sabbatical in India and Nepal in 2001, he studied various forms of yoga, meditation, and philosophy to complement his training.
He is a pioneer in bringing eastern and holistic medicine into a group medical setting and, with the use of a multi-specialty staff (which included pain management, orthopedics, physical therapy, acupuncture, and nutrition), he was able to create an extremely effective program helping thousands of patients out of three offices.
Being an accomplished Qi Gong and Tai Chi Instructor, he has served as a wellness consultant and lecturer for the past four years.
