Peg M Schanne, DNP is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 18 years’ experience in medication management and psychotherapy for the treatment of various mental health and substance use disorders. Her experience includes but is not limited to children ages 6-18 years old, adults through the age of 85 suffering from general and severe mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, trauma-induced mental health symptoms and substance abuse
disorders. Dr. Schanne is a graduate of Arizona State University where she obtained her FNP, Psych NP, and Doctorate. She has worked with patients from various cultures, age groups, gender, sexual orientation, and race & ethnicities. Dr. Schanne believes in the power of patients to heal themselves from the effects of trauma with proper guidance and support from therapists and medications where necessary.
