Dr. Zeng obtained her doctorate degree in optometry from the State University of New York, College of Optometry. She completed her undergraduate degrees in Biology and English Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Zeng is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
Dr. Zeng is committed to providing and promoting overall ocular health—from providing comprehensive annual eye exams to treating eye diseases. She has experience in fitting various contact lens types, including: soft, gas-permeable, toric, multifocal, and other hard-to-fit lenses. Dr. Zeng is also certified to fit custom gas-permeable lenses (CRT), which are normally worn at night to improve vision through reshaping the front of the eye.
Dr. Zeng was the 2008 recipient of the OCNY scholastic achievement award. She was actively involved in providing voluntary eye care services to the participants of the Special Olympics in New York City. She also volunteered her time in mentoring students in the C-step (Collegiate Science and Technology Entry) program, which is involved in helping underprivileged students reach their goals of having careers in the science, mathematics, technology and health care industries. Dr. Zeng has also volunteered with the San Francisco Project Homeless Connect program, providing eye care needs to the homeless population in San Francisco.
During her free time, Dr. Zeng enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends. A native of the Bay Area, she enjoys exploring the various cities in and around the greater San Francisco Bay Area, playing tourist during her spare time and taking in the rich and varied sights and sounds throughout the region.
