Dr. Peter Ilowite is a local dermatologist in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, providing treatment of skin disease, dermatological surgery, and skincare needs. Our professional staff and caring doctor can help you manage, diagnose, and treat all skin disorders, including skin cancer. Dr. Ilowite prides himself on treating each and every patient that walks through the door. Linda, his registered nurse, is also here to help and educate you regarding all of your skincare needs!
Unlike many other doctors' offices, Dr. Ilowite provides personal service to each of his patients, ensuring they never feel rushed. We have a warm and friendly staff, pleasantly void of any retail sale pressure. Our only goal is to provide personal service to each patient and to ensure our patients spend the time they need with the physician.
Dr. Ilowite earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Saint Clare's Hospital and his residency in dermatology at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals-University Medical Center.
Originally started by Dr. Ilowite's father in 1978, Dr. Ilowite took over in 1992, continuing the family tradition of providing quality care to our local patients and the surrounding areas.
We've always offered quality, personal care and the full attention of the doctor during your visit, and we continue that tradition today.
You are welcome to book your appointment online. We ask that you please give us your insurance ID# and birthdate so that we can check your benefits. Or you can book online and then call the office with your insurance info.
Please be prepared when you come for your visit to give the staff your insurance card, a photo ID, and your copay. We accept cash or check only (no cards).

I took my toddler to see him for a skin condition and he was very helpful. I was a worried mother and he eased my concerns by explaining everything to me in detail. I’ve gone to another doctor before him and the medicine he gave me did not work. When I went to Dr. Ilowite he gave me a different treatment with specific instructions and it worked immediately and my sons skin got better! Very kind man. Would definitely recommend him.
