The doctor was professional, obviously knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff was personable and efficient, but appeared to be overbooked. The office was not aware of my Zocdoc appointment, and I had to complete paper forms because the forms I completed on line were not received. I would definitely return but would book directly with the office.

Dr. Peter J. Lowe is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons; one of the country’s most highly esteemed societies for surgeons. Dr. Lowe also completed his Fellowship training at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School.
The Fellowship program at Mass Eye and Ear focused on the treatment of diseases of the retina, vitreous, and macula including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment repair. It also included the surgical treatment of the complications associated with cataract surgery including macular holes and macular pucker.
In 1983, Dr. Lowe established his private practice in Palm Beach County, Florida, and, in addition, served as an Ophthalmologist for the county’s Health Department for more than 20 years.
He has performed more than 10,000 major surgical procedures and countless in-office laser treatments for patients with diabetic retinal diseases, retinal vein occlusion, and retinal tears.
Dr. Lowe’s inspiration for specializing in Ophthalmology was his father, a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry.
“My father’s dedication to his profession fueled my early interest in the eye," says Dr. Lowe. “Now, after years in this profession, I have since become inspired by the fact that new developments in the treatment of ocular disease allow me to make a difference in the quality of life of my patients. Dr. Lowe and his wife, Elaine, make their home in Palm Beach County, Florida. They have two children, Brandon and Marissa. Dr. Lowe enjoys working out, playing tennis and playing golf, of course, when time permits.”

I booked the appointment here on Zoc doc but they said they had no record of any online booking yet I am being sent to review which confirms that I did do the proper process but for me this place is criminal, because I am over 60 have no insurance and they want $480 just to take a look at a person's eyes and then if you are eligible for the process it's $3400 to clear up floaters which to me is completely criminal . Incredibly overpriced

This doctor, or at least his office staff just doesn't seem to grasp the concept of Electronic Medical Records. The idea being that Zocdoc provides a way to fill out medical history and other documents prior the initial visit. Zocdoc's texted instructions are to tell the office that the documents were completed on line. This office had no idea what that meant. which meant I had to fill out the documents again. Using Zocdoc for this doctor is basically a useless endeavor. The doctor also had the appointment time incorrect as 8:00 AM when the appointment was made at 9:00 and documented so by Zocdoc. Either there is a problem with Zocdoc or this office has staff seemingly untrained with Zocdoc..
