Dr. McQueen is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon. He takes special interest in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery, including anterior hip replacement surgery. Dr. McQueen grew up with a passion for sports and he brings that passion to athletes of all levels. He has worked with professional teams as well as local college and high school athletes. Each patient receives tailored care that firsts tries to focus on non-invasive treatments.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. McQueen earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. McQueen then completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He continued on to complete his sports medicine fellowship at San Diego Arthroscopy and Scripps Medical Center.
