Patient reviews for Dr. Hythem P. Shadid
Everyone in the office was friendly and cordial. I felt they listened to my issues and discussed options to consider.
Understands ur pain. Very good listener. Very kind
Great staff. Doctor takes his time , Explains everything in simple terms. Love this place.
Very down-to-earth made me feel very comfortable..
Dr. Shadid and his entire staff are outstanding. He is a doctor with compassion which is rare these days.
He’s good but they need to adjust their appointment times. They’re always behind.
Dr. Shadid was very kind and genuinely concerned with my issues. He took my lifestyle into consideration before deciding on a treatment plan.
The visit was great and my pain was diagnosed quickly. Thank you Dr. Shadid
Professional and friendly but it was a 50 minute wait.
Dr Shadid treated my daughter for a broken finger. He was over the top amazing and so was the entire staff. My daughter has Aspergers or high level autism. Dr Shadid was so professional and kind and treated her like she was the most important person. His nurse Stacie put my daughter at ease and treated her with such dignity. Thank you.
It was wonderful! I have no complaints.
Had a great experience with Dr.Shadid. My son has a lower back pains. Dr. Shadid was very informative and knew exactly what was wrong and explained everything very well and requested more tests to be completed. Highly recommended.
I chose the 4 star option for waiting room because I arrived early. I was taken back promptly at my appointment time.
My first visit here was great! Everyone was so nice and made me feel very comfortable!
My appointment was at 2:30 PM but I got in at 3:45 PM. I have filled all my forms online, still I had to wait for more than an hour. The waiting time is something that I didn’t like, everything else was fine. The doctor was patient enough to listen to all my problems. I need to make another appointment and I just hope I get in sooner this time.
I saw Dr Elliot Johnson since he had a cancellation and Dr Shadid was over booked. It was excellent that they offered another doctor. Dr Elliot was exceptional!
Amazing as always!
I appreciated my visit with Dr. Shadid. He’s very knowledgeable, answered all my concerns,. He will be my surgeon.
I belive Dr. Shadid is a great communicator and he listened to my concerns. He explained his diagnosis thoroughly and I never felt rushed like at some other places. I must say I really liked him as a person. The only negative thing is that the wait time was longer than I thought, but overall I am still very happy with the doctor and the care I received.
Very attentive and was able to diagnose without hesitation.
He knew what he was talking about and was very nice
Very nice people, make you feel comfortable. Dr. Shadid explained all my issues and put me at easy.
Great physician with lots of knowledge.
Excellent. From the office staff to the doctor.
Very good and nice
I received prompt, professional care for my pre-op screening and hip joint injection.
He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He did a great job explaining my daughter's needs. The office was extremely clean and quiet. All staff was very pleasant.
The care I received was first-rate. The office wait time is fairly minimal. The doctor and staff sat down and answered all my questions.
Dr. Shadid and team were great working with my son and his injury. He took time to not only understand the injury but took the time to modify the recovery process to best fit my son's age and day to day activities.
It was unpleasant to say never heard a doctor talk like that to a patient seeking help
Very pleasant experience, everyone from the front desk to Dr Shahid were very welcoming. Very good first impression.
I think the waiting time was pretty long since it was our first time at their office. We had to fill out some paperwork and that took some time. Other than that I highly recommend Dr. Shadid!!
He was very friendly, and gave me more information about my broken hand then the ER did. He was able to answer pretty much all my questions before I? had them. Thanks Dr. Shadid!
A doctor that actually LISTENED to me, didn't rush me, and gave many helpful suggestions. I felt he was very honest and didn't attempt to push unnecessary treatments. He answered my questions honestly and was able to point me in the right direction. If you've experienced my type of insurance, you know that good doctors are very hard to come by. Would recommend him 100%
It was great, it was so easy to make an appointment, all the radiology equipment needed is available right there, no need to coordinate additional orders and additional appointments for X-rays etc. Dr. Shadid was very nice as was the staff working there.
Took time to hear me out and set up a plan of testing to understand what the problems I am having. Really appreciate it.
Dr. Shadid was very caring and compassionate. I didn't feel rushed and he took care of me himself instead of sending in a nurse or a physicians assistant. That means a lot to me! I would certainly recommend Dr. Shadid to anyone in need.
I found Zocdoc and Dr. Shadid through a google search for orthopedic surgeons who accept medicaid. I feel so blessed! Not only is the medical staff personable, Dr. Shadid brought me in for surgery the next day, relieving my anxiety about 2 broken bones. I was kind of scared when I was arriving for my first surgery ever at Central Dupage Hospital, but watching the staff work so well together as a team made me feel I was in gpod hands. Dr. Shadid even came and said hello, always with a handshake and a smile. The follow up was just as smooth, again speaking with Dr. Shadid and his PA: they remembered and talked about my inital concerns again.
Dr. Shadid was professional and very nice. He talked to me then I had an X-ray. The women taking the X-ray was just as nice and professionally did her work. I know this because recently radiology tech had to do the X-rays over about 3 times? I did have to wait a bit for the Doctor to come back, but it was worth it. I hope to see him again if need be. One of his employees I want to add for her professionalism but was very sweet and kind.
This is not my first experience with Dr. Shadid. My first was with our daughter who had knee problems due to high school basketball. I find Dr. Shadid to be a good listener, clear communicator and accurate in diagnosis as well as treatment.
He was very professional and polite. He absolutely new what he was doing. I will be coming back!
Always very informative. Not rushed and given many options for coarse of treatment. Overall care and concern for wellbeing and pain exceptional. I'm use to having doctors look at my chart while they stand in front of me, both the doctor and physician assistant knew all the details of my injury and reviews results before they walked in. Specific questions instead of general and quickly we had a plan for treatment. I feel completely at ease with Dr Shadids treatment plan because he wasn't rushed and assessed all factors ahead of time . I hate making rash medical decision with doctors who seem rushed to get to the next room . I feel confident and secure trusting Fr Shadid and his staff.
Dr. Shadid and his amazing PA, Elliott, fixed my trigger thumb and more than a year later, I'm still loving their work. They've also kept me out of surgery with non-invasive treatment for acute sciatic flareups caused by a herniated disc. Currently getting amazing results with daily at-home exercises following the online, customized Trainer RX program. Highly recommend!!
Dr. Shadid was absolutely excellent. He took our concerns seriously. He listened to our story. He carefully considered the facts, looked at X-rays, did a thorough examination, and solved the mystery of my son's mystery pain. He is an excellent communicator, and does not seem arrogant at all-- unlike some surgeons I have encountered. He is our new go-to orthopedic surgeon!
