Doctor PETER J. PELOGITIS MD is a Physician located in Austin Texas, working in Psychiatry, whom has been specializing in Addiction Medicine during the last 5 years. $300 initial visit $150 for subsequent visits. Up until recently, he was on Staff as a Psychiatrist at Austin-Travis county MHMR attending to the treatment of all types of addiction, especially opioid (narcotics) dependency. He has treated hundreds of patients whom had been addicted to ‘pain meds’ and/or heroin.
Previously Dr. Pelogitis had been specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and obesity. Aiding thousands of clients with morbid obesity reducing their weights and likewise it’s harmful heath risks. His approach is innovative, yet conservative, emphasizing exercise and a healthy diet, with minimal medication exposure and likewise reducing unwanted side effects.
In addition, he has 15 years of psychiatric experience treating thousands of adult patients with mental illnesses, such as depression, anxiety/panic disorders, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
Peter J. Pelogitis is a graduate of Medical College of Pennsylvania [M.D.], and Penn State University [B.S.]. He attended psychiatric residency at University of Texas, and has been holding a Texas Medical License since 1996.
