It was fine. Waited 40 min for a consult that lasted about 10. He was courteous and professional but nothing super special.

They called to change my appointment 3 times. Always about a day before. I gave up and went to another practice. I wish they would have given me more notice.

I saw him twice and he was late both times by more than 20 minutes. After the visit, he was very difficult to get a hold of just to get my blood exam results. I had to stop by the office and leave a message with the receptionist in order to get him to call me back.
Once he did call me back, it didn't appear like he even looked at my blood tests or compared them to the previous numbers. He gave me generic and bland answers. I have decided to find a new gi.

I really can't comment too much because I visited Dr. Benias only for a brief pre-colonoscopy consultation. He told me a little about the procedure, I set up the appointment with his assistant, got information about preparing, and left. He was courteous and explained things clearly, so I really have no complaints. I'll wait until after the procedure to offer any further comments.

Will not return. I was the last patient of the day, I felt rushed and almost like the doctor didn't want to do much. The staff is very rude and I was better off diagnosing myself. Waste of time !

Dr. Benias is a very approachable, genial medical practitioner. He made me relaxed, comfortable, and gave me the sense that I was important him...not just one of the hundreds of different faces he sees every day.

Top-notch soctor!

Dr. Benias was great, however, I was disappointed that I had to wait for 45 minutes before being seen by a nurse for initial examination - especially because I was the first scheduled appointment in the office.

Honest & thorough, a "team" player in managing your health, not simply a specialist performing his "piece" to the exclusion of the whole.
