Martin Wolff, MD, FACG is a double board-certified gastroenterologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center. He is an expert in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and is recognized as one of New York City’s top gastroenterologists. More importantly, he treats his patients with kindness, compassion, and sincerity. His approach is collaborative and humanistic, and he works transparently with each of his patients to ensure that they are comfortable with their treatment decisions.
Dr. Wolff specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of:
-Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and celiac disease
-Reflux, difficulty swallowing, abdominal pain, bloat, blood in the stool, diarrhea, constipation, nausea/vomiting
-Disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and colon
-Disorders of the gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, and liver
-Cancers of the digestive tract
-Screening and surveillance colonoscopy
Dr. Wolff graduated summa cum laude from Yale University where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He went on to complete his medical education, internal medicine residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at NYU, where he was inducted into the AOA Medical Society and elected Internal Medicine Resident of the Year and Gastroenterology Fellow of the Year. Dr. Wolff has authored numerous publications in the fields of mucosal immunology and IBD and serves on the advisory board and clinical faculty for several IBD therapeutics. He is nationally recognized for his professionalism, research, teaching, and dedication to clinical medicine.
