Dr. Romano and his assistant are a breath of fresh air. After filling out paperwork, including why I was there, Carla (the doctor's assistant) gave me brochures about the area of my back I was having pain, which included what could cause it and possible treatments, while I was waiting to be called. When Dr. Romano brought me back, I received his full attention. He didn't just look over my paperwork and assume he knew everything about me - he asked me questions about my health, lifestyle, medication, etc. He asked several questions about treatment for a disorder I have, and did a thorough investigation regarding my pain, etc. He gave me a few ideas of what it could be, but rather than start treating me blindly and hoping something stuck, he sent me for x-rays and asked me to come back tomorrow so he could review them and develop a treatment plan.
Dr. Romano is very matter of fact, personable, and thorough. It's obvious that a) he knows what he's talking about, and b) he truly cares about the people who come through his door. I will definitely be seeing him tomorrow to go over my films, and I'm looking forward to resolving my back issues with his help.

Dr. Romano has 27 years of experience with great success in treating various conditions during his career, including injuries related to car and work accidents, post-surgical rehabilitation, disc problems, neck and arm pain, headaches and migranes, leg pain and sciatica, bck aches and injuries, and shoulder and knee problems.
He also specializes in the treatment of sports injuries, and over the eleven years he has practiced in the Montgomery County area, he has served as the team chiropractor for several high school football teams, including Sherwood and Rockville.
