When I first walk in office really clean receptionist really friendly. Waited only for 5 minutes. Great experience. The nurse practitioner Mrs. Emma Phyllis responde all my question exactly help me alot left the office very happy.

She received both BSN and MS degrees from the State University at Stony Brook where she was certified as a nurse practitioner in psychiatry.Ms.Emma has extensive experience in the field of Behavioral Health, treating children, adolescents, and adults with various psychiatric problems.
She has worked in the psychiatric emergency room of a local hospital on Staten Island for seven years where she was in charge of the emergency observation area. She was also employed for 12 years at Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn where she was a nurse in charge. Ms.Emma was also working at the Institute for Community Living for number of years, where she was in charge of in house services for treatment resistant patients.
In addition, Ms.Emma has unique expertise in working as a forensic psychiatric nurse practitioner on Rikers Island, where she provided care and prescribed medications for inmates with mental health problems.

Wait time wasn't too bad. Ms. Emma was professional I feel like she will be able to continue treating me with the care I need.

I was chocked with how accomodating the office staff and provider was. She was very patient and offered me great help. I a, very excited to continue my monthly visits with her. It is very rare to find a good doctor/nurse practitioner on this island and I feel so lucky to have had this great experience.
