The provider I saw was kind, but seemed very pre-occupied as she continuously left out of the room to do other things. I also felt like I was talking to myself at times. I have chronic back pain and expressed my need for my pain medication that I’ve been taking for quite some time, and was denied because I didn’t have any images on file. How would I have any recent images when my whole point of being there was to establish care, obviously I don’t have anything and need everything if I’m just establishing care again, but that doesn’t mean I should have to leave the office upset and in pain. For clarity, Dr. Goldson-Prohete made this decision. She was very accusatory and showed no empathy in regard to the pain I was in, which is more than disheartening coming from professionals I thought I would be more comfortable with and supported by because they look like me. If you’re a black woman and black man, then you know what I mean. I don’t plan on returning.

This is not a gynecologist office. This is a primary care office, but the service is great. The staff is friendly and they attempt to assist you in the best way possible.
