A graduate of Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Ronen started his career as a paramedic in the Navy Seals. "I was attracted to obstetrics and gynecology because I had to understand how a baby can hold its breath submerged for nine whole months! I now know the answer to that, as well as answers to many other wonderful aspects of women's health".
Along side his practice, Dr. Ronen is Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Memorial City Hospital. Dr. Ronen is also an Assistant Professor at the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program of Baylor College of Medicine. In 1999 he served as chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at the Spring Branch Medical Center. Dr. Ronen is board certified and a member of numerous professional organizations.
Dr. Ronen is married and has three children. He enjoys swimming, sailing and taking care of his patients.

Amazing! Our first appointment was a dream, the experience was very calming, everyone was so nice and they made sure you were taking care of, VERY professional with every single detail from the moment you step inside ( Very Safely Organized) Our questions about our new pregnancy journey was met with love and care from every start to finish. Dr. Ronen was very sweet and a good liatener.he did not rush me at all.
But one of the nurses at the front desk seemed to busy to greet me when I walked in and was rude to one of the other staff members. She even interrupted when I was asking another staff member an important question .
Other than that one person, it was a great visit.

Dr. Ronen was very nice and detailed. My low rating is for his staff who forgot about me and never apologized. My appt was for 10:25 and by me being a new pt and working in a doctor's office myself I arrived at 9:55 for paperwork and etc. well it was going on 11:10 and I still haven't gotten called and everyone after me has came and gone. I go to the front desk to see did they forget about me the lady stated oh no your a new pt and we have to input all your info from your forms so I said ok. 2mins later I get called back only to go in the room and the rooming nurse goes over my paperwork and start putting my info in the system which I was told that was already being done and that's why they haven't called me back yet, so now I'm upset because I was lied to and I told her that I was not happy because I was told this was already done and that was the reason for the long wait....again Dr. Ronen was very nice and detailed with my issue but his staff could use a little help especially by this being my first visit. A first impression is everything!

The wait was short and pleasant, the staff treated me with respect and the doctor was very nice and good at making people feel at ease. The nurse that took my blood found my vein on the 1st try, the whole appointment was pretty fast. Overall pretty good experience considering all things. I would recommend to a friend, if you can just get an appointment, because from what I've seen he books up pretty fast.
