She received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the national medical honors society. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and completed her residency in Dermatology at New York University, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Hartman also holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School.
