Dr. Rachael Kenyon grew up in southwest Portland Oregon. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University, graduating with distinction. Dr. Kenyon completed her clinical training with externships in primary eye optometry, pediatrics, vision therapy, and medical optometry. Outside of clinic, Dr. Kenyon enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid crafter and loves baking. Dr. Kenyon is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association. She enjoys providing one-on-one care to patients of all ages.

This was my first ever eye exam (and I am in my mid-40's). The whole office took great care of me, from the initial paperwork, to the first sets of tests to seeing the Dr. ad going through everything with her. I HIGHLY recommend going here.

The overall experience I had here was excellent. I am used to sitting and waiting for long periods of time and the doctor is rushed. Not the case here. When I arrived I was greeted and handed the usual paperwork to fill out. Soon after I handed in the paperwork the person who greeted me took me back and ran several tests on my eyes and had the room all set up will for the Dr. When Dr. Kenyon came in she was also very friendly and explained everything very well as she did the final refinements for my prescription. She then proceeded to do a more thorough exam as she noted I am an insulin dependant diabetic. As soon as she was finished she walked me out onto the showroom floor and I began looking at frames. I wish I was better at names, but then the next person to help me was also very friendly and knowledgable about the various frames. He worked with me for over an hour until we found the perfect frames. I have to say this was my best visit to an optometrist office I have had for as long as I can remember!

Not sure why I filled out any paperwork on ZocDoc as I was required to fill out paperwork once I got in the office. Other than that, the staff was friendly and very helpful picking out a pair of glasses. Would recommend.
