Dr Bier was an excellent doctor. She asked for a complete history of all my health issues and family history, collecting details on all the background about my thyroid condition. She asked detailed questions in order to ensure she had all the required information needed to address my concerns, and provided a detailed explanation of how the endocrine system works and how various tests provide diagnostic information about my condition. She spent 20-30 mins with me and scheduled followup tests immediately, including the next scheduled visit in order to address my concerns on a timely basis. Dr Bier is an excellent listener and even suggested that I follow up with another doctor to address another past medical issue that she felt was not fully addressed by previous doctors. I feel extremely confident that I chose the right doctor to help me. In addition, the office staff was very professional and I was escorted into the doctors office even before I finished filling out my paperwork.

Very thorough doctor who is up to date on new research there is no stone not turned over to get to a diagnosis and treatment which I greatly appreciate. I also love the offices in beautiful homes which makes for a comfortable experience, valet parking and how labs and ultrasounds can be done there- it’s a really great find.

Dr. Rachel Bier is a compassionate and caring board-certified physician in Endocrinology & Metabolism. She completed her fellowship in Endocrinology at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Bier enjoys seeing all patients and practices as a general endocrinologist. At the same time, Dr. Bier also has a special emphasis on women’s health issues such as Endocrine Conditions in Pregnancy, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Dysfunctional Ovulation and Amenorrhea (abnormal menses), Infertility, Female Athlete Triad, Weight Management, Menopause and Osteoporosis.
Endocrinology Consultants, PC and Thyroid Center of NJ carry credentials from leading endocrinology centers in the United States, such as Mount Sinai Medical Center and Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. We are proud to have physicians on our staff who have been named among New Jersey's top doctors.
