She was very sweet, informative & easy to talk to about concerns because of previous complications w/ my last pregnancy. She made me feel confident that things will go as smoothly as possible. She gave good advice as far as what TO do and what NOT to do to avoid any possible complications. No question was a dumb question to her, which made me feel more comfortable. Everyone in the office was very friendly and nice. They made me feel more comfortable with finding out I was having TWINS!! :)

Dr. Rachel Gunderson grew up in Nebraska and after moving frequently for her education, she is proud to call Texas home. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in human biology with honors from Stanford University and her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Hospital. During her residency, Dr. Gunderson was recognized as the Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology and received the award for excellence in Gynecologic Oncology.
Dr. Gunderson loves taking care of women of all ages and understands that each patient has a unique relationship with her OB/GYN. She enjoys spending time getting to know her patients and understanding their individual needs. Her practice includes adolescent gynecology, obstetrics, annual exams and gynecologic surgery, including robotics.
She and her husband Dustin attend King of Glory Lutheran Church in Dallas.

Dr. Gunderson was great! So was Monica! I was nervous because it was in a building on a hospital property and it is a larger practice, but the check in was very prompt and the paperwork was not overwhelming and I was taken back almost instantly. The room was comfortable and getting to talk with the doctors one on one in her office was a unique and much appreciated change of pace. Dr. Gunderson was very informative and made quick work of the exam. Monica, her nurse, was awesome and did my blood draw fast. All of my options were discussed and they took my insurance. I'll be back!

Dr: Gunderson was what your hope for in a Doctor. As a young girl who doesn't really have a PCP she truley takes time to invest in you. She isn't there to just do the regular yearly check up, she takes time to talk to you and really get to know you and talk to you about your medical history, and any medical issues you may want to discuss. I'm thankful to have found her. If you are looking for a great doctor, I would strongly recommend Dr. Gunderson, and staff, they were great.

I was going in for my annual but I also brought along my daughter for her first visit and a discussion on birth control. Dr. Gunderson was absolutely fabulous connecting with my daughter and making her feel comfortable. She was very thorough in her exams and made decisions based on our information to not perform a pelvic exam as it was not necessary at this time. Her explanations were clear and understandable. She also updated us both on the vaccine for HPV and started the process. I highly recommend her!

The only complaint would be the rude receptionists. It was very hard to ignore their attitudes. I had an appointment at 11. I arrived 15 minutes early. They called every single person who came after me to be seen before me. I had to ask what was going on after 30 minutes had past because I had an appointment and also had scheduled meetings. The attitude I received was unacceptable so much so that I posted it on Facebook. Rude front desk.

Dr. Gunderson is unlike any medical professional I have visited. She took the time to speak with me before my examination and actually listened to everything I had to say. She makes a genuine attempt to connect to her patients and it shows through her actions, not just her words. She even called me herself to let me know my results, unlike most doctors who would just utilize their nurse for that task. Highly recommend Dr. Gunderson!
