Dr. Rachel Musson grew up in a small town on the western slope of Colorado. She earned a BS in Biology from Colorado State University and a doctorate from the Kentucky College of Optometry.
Working in areas like eastern Kentucky, as well as on the Wind River Native American Reservation in Wyoming has given Dr. Musson unique insight into medically underserved areas and the importance of annual comprehensive eye exams. While earning her doctorate, Dr. Musson enjoyed volunteering at the local elementary schools doing vision screenings and educating parents about when to bring kids in for their first eye exams.
Dr. Musson loves to help make people see the beautiful world for the first time. She also loves to practice primary care optometry, which includes contact lens fitting and treating ocular surface disease. She is also trained in the use of lasers to treat conditions such as glaucoma and secondary cataracts.
Outside of the office, Dr. Musson likes to spend time with family and friends, listen to country music while driving with the top down, and is a doting mom to her fur-baby, Toothless.
