Dr. Rahul N. Desai is a fellowship trained Musculoskeletal and Spinal Interventional radiologist. His practice is focused on helping patients get relief from chronic pain through state-of-the-art, image-guided, therapeutic injections.
Dr. Desai received his undergraduate degree at Ohio State University where he was a full National Merit Scholar and his medical degree at the Medical University of Ohio. He went on to complete his radiology training at the University of Toledo Health Sciences Campus where he also served as Chief Resident.
In 2007, Dr. Desai was accepted into the prestigious Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Spinal Intervention Fellowship Program at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. During that time Dr. Desai solidified his love of MSK, sports medicine and pain management while providing these services to the St. Louis area’s major league sports teams.
Dr. Desai has been practicing interventional pain management and providing musculoskeletal and sports medicine radiologic interpretation in the Portland metro area since the summer of 2008.
