Dr. Varma is a very detailed & compassionate doctor. Although the wait time may be longer than normal, he is very thorough in explaining your condition and treatment. I was introduced to him during an emergency visit to the hospital and very pleased with his professionalism and medical treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Varma if you need a cardiologist.

Dr. Varma attended medical school in India at the prestigious Andhra Medical College which was established in 1923. Throughout his medical schooling, Dr. Varma stood at the top of his class achieving multiple honors and medals. He received awards for top performance among three universities at state level. He completed Orthopedic residency training at the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India. This national institute is considered the top Orthopedic Residency training program in the country. Dr. Varma completed his visiting fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY as an Orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Varma completed his internship in medical residency and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.
Dr. Varma has authored many articles and publications. He is a Professional Member of the American Heart Association (AHA), American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI).
