A Long Island native, Dr. Littman completed his residency in internal medicine as well as subspecialty fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. After two years in private practice in New Jersey, Dr. Littman returns to Long Island to join the Suffolk Heart Group.

Dr Littman is a great cardiologist. He was was outgoing and personable, but at the same time focused on my health. I was there for a preventative cardiology screening, but he took the time to go over my generic health to make sure that he had a good understanding of my general health and what, if any, impact it might have on my heart. The staff was friendly and efficient in making sure that the preliminary medical information was correct. The front office staff was equally efficient in taking care of the paper work and setting up the followup tests that Dr Littman recommended. Overall the office is clean and welcoming, offering internet access while you wait. I will definitely be going back to Dr Littman to look after my heart.

trying to call the office is extremely difficult called three times was put on hold between 1/2 hour to an hour each time. We finally gave up and thats how we ended up using Zocdoc on line. We would much rather talk to the office staff on the phone

I was afraid. Anyone needing a cardiologist I guess would be. I felt welcomed, I felt he took me serious, I do believe he started the process to get to the bottom of “my feeling” without making me feel uncomfortable

Right off the bat he said my chest pains where probably due to stress and being over weight. I started having pains in front of him to the point I couldn’t finish my sentence. Instead of being a doctor and checking me or asking me if I was okay he asked me if I was on drugs. Then left the room. Horrible!
