My visit with Dr. Sood was very Profectional, He did my injection, at fist I was a little scare he explain everything to me. and talk to me was I ok if I was in any pain to let him know, He took time with me doing the procising the procesure went well and it made me pain free, now I don't have pain in my back & legs, I was so amaze he is very Good.

Dr. Sood was raised in South Atlanta in Jonesboro, GA. He attended Woodward Academy in College Park, GA from Kindergarten to 12. He completed a computer science degree at the University of Georgia with a minor in Biology. He then completed medical school at the PCOM-Georgia Campus in Suwanee, GA., graduating in 2009. He completed his Traditional Rotating Internship at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute in St. Petersburg, FL.
He then completed his primary residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Emory School of Medicine, which he completed in 2013. Dr. Sood then went on to finish his post-graduate training by doing a fellowship in Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine at the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan, NY in 2014.
He returns to Georgia and where he was raised in Jonesboro to help improve the quality of life of patients from where he originally grew up. He is very familiar with the area having been raised there. He has a vested interest in improving patients' lives on the south side and greater Atlanta.
During residency he was able to publish and an article in the renowned journal Pain Physicians with co-investigator Dr. Jeremy Beckworth in 2014 entitled, "The Anomalous location of the vertebral artery in relation to the neural foramen: Implications of cervical transforaminal epidural injections". They received the Award for Best Basic Science Research Paper by the distinguished society International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS) during a podium presentation in Las Vegas, 2013.
As a physician, Dr. Rajiv Sood has an interest in treating acute pain syndromes as well as general musculoskeletal pathologies including tendinopathies and osteoarthritis. He also has a keen interest in the advent of biologic treatments bein

I am very pleased with the services I have received. From the front staff, doctors, assistant, therapist. I have even told my mother about you all and she and my dad drives 4 hours to have service here. "To GOD BE THE GLORY!" I will continue to tell people about you all. Service is "Excellent". People are very professional
