After nearly a year of trying to find a new and permanent doctor and finding myself being treated like nothing more than a number, being taken into and out of the offices I'd been to without the doctors caring anything about 'me' as a whole, I was nervous to face the possibility of yet another disappointment. Wow!!! Was I wrong to worry. From the moment I walked into the office I was greeted with a smile and very friendly hello by the lady at the front desk. The nurse was upbeat, full of joy and kindness and the Doctor couldn't have been better in what I was hoping for. A doctor who cares, listens *and I mean 'truly' listens*, treats you as an individual and not a cookie cutter patient, is open minded, 'very' calming and reassuring and his entire bedside manner was that as one human being helping another human being. Not simply a number. My last stop was to set up a follow-up appointment and the lady who helped with that was an absolute joy. I cannot praise this office staff and doctor enough! The entire environment and feeling from everyone was calming, joy filled, kindness, and very peaceful. Exactly what every patient should receive while facing difficult times of being sick and having been pushed around a system just trying to find a positive "home" to stay. I'm certain I've found my new "home". No more doctor searching as far as I can help it. I've 'never' been compelled to write a review for a doctor before, but this group deserves it and so much more for putting my worries at ease among everything else I was in need of. Not only am I typing this review up, while I've got the flu and just want to crawl back into because I didn't want to waste 'any' time sharing this with others, but I also got on the phone, as soon as I walked in the door, to call the main Atlanticare number to tell them how incredible this office and staff were/are. The office is very clean as well. I cannot recommend enough. I've been through h*ll trying to find a place exactly like this with such an extraordinary staff!! Thank you to Dr. Almanzar for treating me like a human being and taking the extra time to 'truly' listen and care. Thank you to the staff, whom I met with who all made me feel better just from true and pure kindness. A rarity in this world so if you're looking for what I've described above than I wouldn't hesitate a second to visit this office/doctor. I hope with all my heart that this review will help others avoid having to go through that same h*ll I've been through. A tough road before this appointment so much so that by the time I was leaving the office I was literally tearing up with gratitude and peace of mind. Wonderful experience when needed most!! The staff are wonderful, caring people. Starting at the front desk, the secretary is cheerful and happy to see you. If you have taken care of all your paperwork prior, than you barely have to wait to be called in. The aids are very profesional, timely and curteous. Dr. Almazar was also very timely, thorough and a great proffesional. As a new patient I was more than impresded with the type of care they collaboratively provide!
