Dr Kansara graduated at B.J Medical College in Ahmedabad, India in 1976. He finished his residency at Mt. Sinai Hopsital & Medical Center in Chicago, IL in 1981. He then completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore, MD in 1984. Dr. Kansara is a board certified Gastroenterologist. He is also a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, California Medical Association, and Santa Clara County Medical Association.
Dr Kansara has been practicing in California since 1984 he worked in Lakeport, Morgan Hill and San Jose. He worked with San Jose Medical Group since 1994 and is still a well established physician with the group. He opened his solo practice in September 2001. He provides Gastroenterology consultations referred from primary care physicians. He offers a full range of diagnostic procedures including upper endoscopy (EGD) to examine the esophagus, stomach, and small intestine, colonoscopy to examine the large intestine or colon.
