Dr. Ravikumar Brahmbhatt is a board certified general surgeon. Born and raised in Gujarat, India, he completed medical school in 1996 at M.S. University of Baroda, where he went on to complete a general surgery residency in 2001.
Dr. Brahmbhatt completed his second general surgery residency at NY Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY in 2010. He also completed a surgical critical care fellowship at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ in 2011.
Since 2011, he has practiced in Jersey City, Hoboken and Bayonne area as a general surgeon and advanced laparoscopic surgeon, including robotics. In the past three years at Christ Hospital and Hoboken University Medical Center, Dr. Brahmbhatt has successfully performed approximately 250 robotic general surgery operations.
Common robotic procedures he performs for general surgery include robotic gallbladder removal, robotic inguinal hernia repair and robotic colon resection—in addition to the many other types of robotic operations. His office team speaks English, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati and Spanish.
