Appointment went smoothly. Doc does not seem very detail oriented or concerned when I express health concerns. Seems more content to give me a pill to take pin away then to discover the source of pain and resolve problems.
First, I called 9 other offices who didn't/couldn't see me because I would be a new patient. It's MLK day, so it would be difficult to check eligibility for ins. But Dr. Kurl's office took me anyway. I was seen that day (within a few hours of calling) and felt very welcomed, despite being sick. The nurse was very nice and genuinely concerned about my well-being, and the doctor was very professional and explained everything in terms I could understand. The gentleman behind the desk was so extremely helpful... I'm just glad they put me (the patient) first. I highly recommend them.

This my first visit . Dr Kurl wasn't patient. Dr Kurl was rushing to get patients in to make the money. I explain to Dr. Kurl that I was having pain in my lower back and my right knee. Dr Kurl did an EKG on me. I had no symptoms of chest pain or shortness of breath. I did reschedule with him in a month. On the next visit if I am not pleased I will have to change physician. He doesn't seem caring just trying to make a dollar

My family and I love Dr Kurl as our primary Dr. He always answers and addresses our concerns. His staff is always so nice and helpful. It is a nice practice.

Dr.Kurl was ok but they book alot of people for the same time slots. In addition, he's stoic and sometimes I felt rushed in his manner. He's too quick and rushes out before you can give him all the information. His care level seems to be at a 2. The nurse that does vitals was not the most professional and a bit gabby so she missed pertinent information sometimes. Not the worse but could do alot better. I also don't like the fact that he doesn't have an onsite lab.
This man didn't really listen to my health concern. I really thought he was going to alright considering the reviews. I will not go back to him. He was sooooo quick didn't really care about me. I feel so bad I left there and headed to the ER

My mother and brother were very happy with the office, staff and Doctor an answered prayer for my brother to find a doctor closer to home.

The experience was great. The woman at the front desk was very kind and informative. When I saw the doctor, he explained things in a way I could understand, didn't rush me, and answered my questions without seeming annoyed. I highly recommend this establishment.

Front desk personnel was not in the office. I was notified and expected a little wait. This is understandable. I appreciated being told. Professional and thoughtful.
Verified patient
This was my first visit after leaving my old doctor due to losing my insurance: The wait time was absolutely horrendous (1 1/2 - 2 hours). I wasn't impressed with the service either. The intake nurse was rude and I was refused to be given my current medication for chronic depression/anxiety but he did, however, give me a referral to a behavioral specialist in which now I have to wait to get in and see and wait even longer to receive the medications that I need. I will not be returning, but I will keep him as my PCP until I see the behavioral specialist.
love the nurse........the doc was nice
Verified patient
Very thorough!!
It was accepted. I was able to meet wth a medical Dr. who is concern wth my needs n get my medications. Although if I had not visited Dr. R. Kurl I would not have from out about my insurance issues but the office was a great help.
