Rebecca Mandel is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Skin Center in 2020 after practicing dermatology in New York City for 6 years. A portion of her time in practice was spent working at Essen Medical Associates, a practice focused on providing medical care for underserved communities. Her interests encompass both medical and aesthetic dermatology including: skin cancer screenings, acne, eczema, hair loss and Botox. Her goal is to provide compassionate and thorough dermatological care for all of her patients. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science from Touro College in Manhattan where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Pace University-Lenox Hill hospital in Manhattan. Rebecca and her husband love south Florida and take advantage of all of the wonderful sports the weather has to offer. They enjoy playing tennis together, kayaking and sailing on the weekends. She was very thoughtful and thorough. She answered my questions and genuinely listened to what I was saying to her and my concerns. My last skin screening they only looked at exposed parts of my skin rather than my entire body (very important to melanoma). Very happy I found a new dermatologist that I look forward to seeing and keeping my skins health a top priority.
