She served her residency at the University of Tennessee. She is passionate about women’s health, and encourages women of all ages to participate and explore all options regarding their wellbeing.
She is married with two children and in her free time loves movie nights with the family.

Even though my appt was at 5:30, they asked me to be there at 5.I got there at 4:50 and was not taken back until 5:30 and wasnt seen by anyone until 6:00. All that for a 20min visit. Although the visit was an inconvenience, the staff and doctor were really kind and professional. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

She was really sweet, warm, and super smart! I felt very comfortable with her. I've been having health issues lately and she was the first doctor to really take the time to listen and may have correctly diagnosed the problem within one visit. I felt like I was in really good hands. I will definitely be going to see her from here on out. Highly recommend!

The doctor was delayed at the hospital but one of the other doctors stepped in until Dr. Simonsen could get there. The receptionist and nurses were very pleasant and efficient.

My visit with Dr. Simonsen was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about her scope of practice, professional regarding her examination/consultation process , & patient as it pertained to answering all of my questions/concerns thoroughly. I would definitely recommend her to anyone whose values a doctor with compassion, intellect, & the cutest montage of baby pictures/thank you cards!!!! (which speaks volumes about the great practice at Arbor Obstetrics & Gynecology)

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Simonsen. I will admit I was slightly annoyed with how long I had to wait, but Dr. Simonsen went out of her way to address all of my concerns as soon as she walked into the room. She listened to me and gave great advice. I will definitely be going back.
