Dr. Luna has been a great doctor! I always feel like my baby and I are well taken care of. He is very personable and takes his time during my visits, I never feel like he's rushing me along. I would definitely recommend him to friends & family!

Dr. Luna just moved to McAllen and opened his new practice. He received his medical training from both the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College. He has completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Woman’s Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Luna has received several honors throughout his training. In 2010, 2012 and 2013 he received the Excellence in Teaching Awards. In 2011 Dr. Luna received an Award for Excellence in Outpatient Care and most recently received The Chairman’s Research Prize for excellence in Clinical Research.
Dr. Luna is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. He is a native Texan. Having been born in Houston and raised in South Texas, Dr. Luna understands the importance of family and treats every patient as such. Dr. Luna is bilingual and is eager to provide excellent care to the diverse population of women in our community.
My Philosophy:
I feel honored and privileged to care for the women of this community. I believe in the importance of the doctor-patient relationship. Communication is the key to success. I am empathetic to my patient’s medical needs and work to support my patients present and future health concerns.
