The most pleasant part about the visit was the receptionist, who was really sweet and professional. The doctor herself seems to lack the personality necessary for a job in mental health care. She wasn't initially rude, nor was she warm, but she quickly became presumptuous and condescending, even going as far as to laugh at me several times like someone dealing with a foolish child, rather than an adult with valid health concerns. I left feeling stupid and bullied, not to mention flustered. Once I'd calmed down, I realized what had happened, and I won't be going back. People seeking mental health care are already vulnerable, even fragile, and they don't need to feel judged and ridiculed by the people meant to treat them.

Very nice Dr. I did wait extra long, but it was my 1st spot and she took her time with me, so I take it she is not all about rushing her job.
