The only problem i have with Dr. Jordan's office is I think they overbook her appointments. A person have to wait one to two hours before they are even seen by the doctor.
My first visit with Dr. Barnes-Jordan, and I like her very much. My only "minus" was the wait time. However, if a doctor doesn't rush with their patients, I consider that a "plus"!
Very professional and has a genuine concern for patients and their needs.
I checked to verify that this doctor accepts my insurance before I go; then of course the front desk checked again. However, at my second visit, the front desk told me that they do not accept my insurance, therefore we had to pay out of pocket for the visit. We paid for it because we needed to confirm a pregnancy. After the second visit, we received a bill from the doctors office, saying we need to pay for the visit and the insurance bill. We tried to call the number on the bill for hundreds of times but nobody EVER answers the phone. After 3 mails and hundreds of call to the office and nobody answer, we decided to go ahead and pay because it's going to the collection agency. It was VERY disappointing and we were very upset, but we don't even have someone to call to complain!! Both of our visit took 1-2 hours waiting time; the doctor was in for a minute or two.
Great Doctor, however it is difficult to speak to anyone.
I was really disappointed by the level of professionalism in this office. My initial appointment was rescheduled twice by the office due to an office emergency. When I arrived at my appointment, it was almost 90 minutes before I saw the doctor. My blood work was schedule for another day and while I was en route for my 9:00am appointment, I received a call saying that the office would be closed the next two days. I received another call an hour later stating that the office would be open again the next day. I was really disappointed by the mixed messages and unprofessional scheduling. I will search for another Primary Care Doctor.
I'm extremely happy with Dr.Jordan. I haven't been comfortable with a Dr in such a long time. She actually listens to my concerns, and we decide the best treatment plan. I will definitely recommend her to family and friends.
It was OK but could be better
Very Nice Staff, I Visit Was Good With Dr. Jordan
She wad very helpful and informative and I really appreciated her services and glad she is my new pcp
Dr. and her staff were very nice. I did have to wait for sometime, but she was good.
This was my first visit and Dr. Jordan is a great doctor; however, the office staff truly needs to work on their communication skills as far as follow-ups, referrals, responding to messages. It's frustrating having a good doctor who has staffing inefficiencies.
Dr. Jordan and staff have taken great care of me. She is now my primary care doctor. Dr. Jordan has a beautiful office which helps to ease any bad feelings. Conversating with other patients or other activities before seeing the doctor makes the time past quickly. This office has many patients, so be ontime.
Once I was able to be seen, it was a quick, smooth, thorough visit. Lab results were reviewed, suggestions given, and I was scheduled for the next appointment in less than 30 minutes.
My visit highly recommend Dr. Jordan. She's a great doctor with an excellent bedside manner and the staff were very courteous and professional. The thing that was not so enjoyable was the wait time, but at least there were activities for the children and television which made the wait time more bearable. The long wait time was due to a new computer system and an influx of new patients, but hopefully after the new system is completed and all glitches removed, the wait time will be greatly reduced which would make my rating all five stars. Overall great doctor and staff.
Because today was the first day with the new scheduling of appointments online they were backed up
Dr. Jordan, herself, was very pleasant and thorough during my visits. Her front desk staff were generally warm and professional as well, although the young man up front was once argumentative with me when I requested to speak with a nurse about an allergic reaction I was having with a newly-prescribed medication. This was very disappointing. This practice overbooks appointments and accept a ridiculous amount of walk-in patients, resulting in extreme wait times. The waiting room looks like more like a public health clinic.
I thinks she is a very good doctor. The time and the waiting sucks and she need to be much better at time management. My appointment. Was at 3pm I waited until to5:30 to be seen , then I sat in the room int 6:15 when the doctor finally came in . I was a previous client of doctor Barnes . This was my reason for the change of doctor. I see things hasn't changed.my appointment was originally for 5/28 they called and asked if i could come in the day early.I asked clerk why would they change my appointment to cause this aggregation for me no respond.
SHE'S THE BEST DOCTOR AND ADVISER I'VE MET SINCE COMING TO TEXAS THREE YEARS AGO. SHE'S VERY GOOD IN HER PROFESSION AND SHOWS IT WITH EVERY VISIT TO HER OFFICE. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR THE BEST. SHE IS THE BEST.
Wait time was WAY TOO LONG!!! You have to value other peoples time like you do your own ( I do have value for my time) Let patients know if they're going to be seen on time or not and let them decide if they want to wait or not. After waiting 2hours and 45 mins the staff STILL wanted to wait even longer to do some lab work. Not good at all. Dr. Jordan is a good Dr. but rarely do i get to see her personally anymore....
Takes a very long time to see the doctor you make your appointment at 11 and a hour would go by before you see the doctor I do have other things tovdo
My visit with Rhonda Barnes Jordan was great. She was very nice and gave good information. I would recommend anyone to her...keep up the good work Dr. Barnes Jordan :-)
Dr. Jordan is my personal doctor. I was referred to her by Dr. Edith I. Jones. She comes highly recommended. She has a beautiful office. To diminish wait time, she has the assistant of a Physician Assistant, Dr. Ahmard (misspelled). They are very attentive to your health care and talk with you about your health.
Took for ever they never answer the phone don't think I would go back or send someone else they are ruded they never follow back up when they they are going to. Not happy at all
The wait time is horriable.
Since she moved to the new location. You can not her only thing you get is a voice mail where do not call back. There is not personal service like at the old location. She use to care about how you feel. Her office staff don't answer calls anymore.
OK this has happen for the 2nd time I booked online for the 23rd but the lady says the don't have anything until February 18 2015 I don't thinks that's fair because it shouldn't have said on the 23rd I can't wait that long
She fit me in that day and explained that there was an office emergency but instead of pushing my appt time back, they pushed it up and still make me wait approximately four hours to be seen. Once in there she was very apologetic and very understanding. She gave me a steroid shot in office which most doctors rarely do for allergies. Plus she gave me lots of samples so I wouldn't have to purchase new nose spray. Once my conditions did not clear, I was able to call in and ask for an antibiotic since I had signs of infection (green mucus) which she asked me to watch out for and follow up about.
I was looking for a PCP. Of course I read the reviews before I even picked Dr. Jordan. I saw that so many people had nice things to say besides the wait time. When I arrived it was a packed waiting area, a sign to me that the doctor is popular. The waiting area is nice. I sat in the kids waiting area which had a huge big screen TV showing cartoons, nice if you have kids for the wait. My appt was for 1130 i didnt get seen till after 1230, so yes the wait time is long but not overly horrible. I was taken to the back and this is a very nice office. She has personal flat screens in every room. I was able to comfortable watch tv while i waited, this makes a big difference. When she came in the room she is so nice, attentive, she doesnt rush. I think this is a great doctor and i look forward to keeping this PCP for a very long time.
First time today and I loved it! Everyone was nice, I didnt meet Dr Jordan but I meet Dr. Ingrid Aremand and she's aweome!
I would highly recommend her to anyone. She has excellent bedside manners and is very well caring about her patients and their problems and concerns. Dr. Barnes has been my PCP for over since 2006 and she is now also the PCP for my two kids. The office staff that she has are very nice and helpful. Very great customer service and team work.
he took her time and explained what she were doing and going to do she asked. Mw questions about my problems
The staff and overall office is very neat and clean. They are friendly and super helpful. They made my daughter feel comfortable. She was happy there and wouldn't mind going again she said (whew!). Only room for improvement is wait time.
Excellent doctor. Young, friendly, and energetic.
The doctor is great, her staff could be better but she was amazing
She was very professional and you can tell she knew alot about different areas of health. She is now my husband And I primary care dr.
She was really GREAT! She got to the point and I was in and out once I seen her. The only wait issue was the waiting, but that's understandable because there were lots of patience there also. They wait wasn't an issue for me personally. All in all she was great and I will continue to have her as my primary care!
it was terrible i arrived @ 7:50 for an 8;30 appt. and i did not leave until after 2;30. very upset
She is a very professional and caring doctor!
She was GREAT. ....
This was my first visit with Dr. Jordan and it was so refreshing to find a professional, clean doctors office in my urban neighborhood. Dr. Jordan has a great bedside manner and really took the time to ask me questions, explain things and I really like her and it made it even better that the wait was not long at all especially for a new patient's first visit. All of her staff was pleasant as well. My only recommendation would be to check the soap dispensers in the bathroom to make sure it is always full because I went in and it was completely empty and it looked like it might have been like that for awhile. Overall I still rate the experience as EXCELLANT and I look forward to being a long time patient.
Dr. Barnes and Ingrid Armand were great! They are very detailed with their exam and very easy to talk to. I will be returning and referring family and friends.
She was really nice and gave me the information that I was asking for.
DR WAS AWESOME BUT WAIT TIME WAS HORRIBLE...
Dr. Barnes Jordan professional manner was very good. I was very impressed with her working decision on what possible could be my underline issue of my medical problem. She listen closely to what I was explaining to her. She did not seems to be in a hurry to get to next patient.
Im very picky when it comes to my health and who takes care of me. I loved her. She was concerned about my needs and wanted to make sure I was treated correctly. She reminds me of my former MD in La.
My visit with the young women is always wonderful!
Dr. Barnes Jordan and her staff were very professional and attentive. she listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. My personal and medical needs were met.
YHE WAIT WAS TO LONG AND WASN'T THE DOCTOR THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I WAS LOOKING FOR DERMATOLOGY
The office staff is friendly and caring, but the wait was extremely long. I visited again for a follow-up a month later, and the wait was long then too.
I was very pleased with Dr. Barnes. She showed a lot of concern about my Health and Well being. She took special care in explaning my condition to me. I would reccommend her to anyone.
Staff was very helpful! The doctor shared information about the condition I had and gave me information to take home. I was very impressed not only by their professionalism but also their kindness and concern.
